Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • Hershey's Chocolate Chips
  • Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Condensed Milk 
  • 2 cups Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Almond Essence
  • 10 Slices Wheat Bread
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg Powder

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C or (350°F). In a large bowl, whisk eggs, add Condensed milk and combine well, add Evaporated milk,  vanilla essence and almond essence.
  2. In another bowl, combine bread and all the other dry ingredients. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the bread and stir to combine. Let sit for 10-15 minutes (allowing bread to absorb liquid) to moisten bread thoroughly.
  3. Pour mixture into prepared baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  4. Allow bread pudding to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chocolate chips and syrup as desired. Cut into 14 slices.
