Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 lbs of potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup
Full Cream milk
- 1/4 cup Anchor butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender. Drain and return to the pot. In a small saucepan, heat the
milk and Anchor butter over low heat until the butter is melted. Add minced garlic and let it infuse for a minute
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or use a ricer for smoother texture
- Slowly pour the milk mixture into the potatoes, stirring continuously, until you reach your desired creamy consistency
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped chives if desired
