Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup Full Cream milk
  • 1/4 cup Anchor butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender. Drain and return to the pot. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and Anchor butter over low heat until the butter is melted. Add minced garlic and let it infuse for a minute
  2. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or use a ricer for smoother texture
  3. Slowly pour the milk mixture into the potatoes, stirring continuously, until you reach your desired creamy consistency
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped chives if desired
