Mac & Cheese

mac and cheese


  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 1 Carton Evaporated milk
  • 3 tbsp Five Roses flour
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • ¼ cup light cream cheese
  • 2 cups Anchor Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Black pepper (optional)


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside
  2. Stir together Evaporated milk, flour, salt and mustard in large saucepan. Add cream cheese
  3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until just boiling and slightly thickened
  4. Remove from heat; stir in Cheddar cheese until melted. Stir pasta into cheese sauce
